Happy Thanksgiving Day

This is merely a placeholder   . . .   turkey should be out in about 3-1/2 hours.

Just as when the moon is full, there are many full moon blips, so today for those of us celebrating Thanksgiving Day, expect to see many turkey blips.

This platter was given me by G's Mom, used every Thanksgiving since for turkey.   She would slice hers in the kitchen, then put meat on the platter.  My Dad would slice ours at the table with everyone looking on, then put pieces on each plate (it seemed to take forever, as we couldn't eat til everyone was served).  Mine is a mix, depending.

So, greetings to all my far-flung family and friends, we are thinking of you as we celebrate in thanksgiving for all our blessings.     A toast to all!

Note:  Have included the turkey in extra.
