A time for giving

Black Friday, what a merry go round. I really didn't want to go through another commercialised Christmas, obsessed with presents rather than presence, but they weren't lying - there were some fantastic deals to be had. So I braved it and made a decent dent in my Christmas shopping list, and there's some relief in that. Spent some time sifting through some old family photos too today - a real treat. Today has been a day for nourishing the soul.
