Backup Blip

When I woke up on Thanksgiving morning, the moon was out and there were lots of puffy clouds (perfect for a colorful sunrise). So I drove into Washington to take pictures at the Washington Monument.  I got there about 45 minutes before sunrise so I figured I would eat up some time by taking some photos at the Lincoln Memorial.  It was a good thing I did because the colorful sunrise I was looking for never came to fruition.
