Reflection in a bauble

A Christmas tree has appeared in front of the Royal Exchange.

The building is mentioned in my Walking Dickens’ London book. The area is mentioned several times in Dickens’ books. Freeman’s Court demolished during the building of the Royal Exchange, contains the offices of the lawyers Dodson and Fogg in The Pickwick Papers and Scrooge’s offices were in the area.

I had lunch with my friend Angie.  It was good to get out of the office.

And my son has put up the Christmas tree this evening.  The lights and tinsel have been added.  The other decorations can wait until tomorrow
