A leisurely brunch and then we spent the day mooching around our local bookstore and then walking in the neighborhoods.  We did buy a lot of books, nearly all of them will be gifts, but there were a few that slipped in  for us - always the way when we're in the bookstore.  Cold, frosty, and bright again.

The car is fixed, the tailgate wasn't shutting tight and was letting in the rain thus the lake in the spare tire well.  

Brisket in the slow cooker all day and will be ready for dinner.
