The Wandering Falcon

Flags of Faith

If you ever visit a Bhuddist shrine (Gompa) or temple, you can find infinite little flags in its vicinity, inscribed with sacred writings to wade off the evil spirits and to bring prosperity. This picture was taken in a northeastern state of India named Sikkim. It borders with Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. Famous for its tea estates and natural beauty, Sikkim is the best place to spend summer.
