Rainy day portrait practice.

A wash out of a day... I was going to horse riding with my friend, who has horses. Given the weather, we re-arranged! So did some studio portrait practice instead... I recently bought off-camera flash gear, so with hubby as my model, I put in some practice in our living room. I'm fairly pleased with the result... this was my favourite shot, I think because it's the most natural (I caught him just as he scratched the back of his head). I shot this using window light and one speed-light though an umbrella.
