Swans at Dusk

The Great Water at Leeds Castle in the fading light of dusk had an almost ethereal beauty about it. The black swan against the bluish mystic looking water made for a dramatic scene.

Equally as breathtaking was Dougal the snowy owl who looked stunning with his beautiful, white feathers after his recent moult. My friend and I had a lovely chat with the falconer hearing about how some of the new birds are settling in.

Next visit I look forward to meeting the baby hedgehogs and seeing if they like the newspaper bedding I delivered today.
