Requiem

A hurried diary blip as this was a rush about errands in the rain day before Gill's two concerts in the evening.  This is the front of the programme for the choral society concert in St Nicholas church in Warwick. (see extra for an internal view)

Rutter's Requiem was not at all as I was expecting,  really quite tuneful and uplifting.  The Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem,  less so,  death metal without the melody?  Definitely not something to listen to if you have had a bad day!  Just my opinion - and I do like some of his other works as well as a variety of other music.
