At the Barbican

Went to the Barbican to see the Charles & Ray Eames exhibition, which was very good.  On the way, nipped into the Curve exhibition space to see what was on there...  The Forever Loop by Eddie Peake, which consisted of some perspex sculptures of bears, scaffolding, damaged plasterboard walls, video screens.  A woman in a transparent dress (and nothing else) rollerskated around us as we walked through the exhibition.  Two naked dancers (one male, one female) moved slowly in parallel.  At one point they were rolling along the floor; another couple were standing in their way, and the girl slapped the floor and eventually had to ask them to shift.

"Set against a backdrop of large scale installations from maze-like, plastered wall structures that frame both the viewer and performer to a raised scaffold walkway, the performers move in and out of the spaces taking the viewer on a dramatic journey, while a sheer suited roller skater glides fluidly through the space."  Yeah, utter nonsense in other words.  Avoid that, check the Eames exhibition.

Meanwhile the Barbican buildings always provide photo opportunities.
