Old Chimney at the WaterWorks

Went for our Sunday walk to the Old Decatur WaterWorks.  An area that used to be the resource for our water- and now has turned into a walking path.  We visit it frequently. There are plenty of old dilapidated structures and wonderful graffiti on the path.  I tried to find out about this old chimney.  It seems there was a farmhouse in the area before the turn of the century (19th) and this is what remains.   The area was deserted and off limits for years but  a few years ago was turned into the path.  A warm after Thanksgiving day and the walkers, dogs, children, skaters and bikers were using the path, zipping by this old chimney.  Derelict but charming.
