Torrential Rain

A severe weather warning is out for torrential rain, high winds and snow in Scotland.

Taken in Pollok Park this morning.  The lower weir is completely covered as the water level is so high. This drain cover looks like it might burst open soon.  Much of the road into the park is completely flooded, and you need wellingtons or boots to navigate the car park outside Pollok House.

We then headed on to Edinburgh, where we got a taste of Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie.  A real treat, delicious.

A follow up to last night's entry - we spotted unleaded petrol at 99.9p per litre at a Sainsbury's in Edinburgh.
