Tree Hunt

Today was the annual tree expedition. It was a beautiful day, blue sky and cold, and all three families found the perfect trees. We always cut down our trees so they're fresh, and we've had some pretty bad weather days where it is a very quick pick and back to the car. We had plenty of time today to wander and ponder. We should've had Gus in this picture too, but he was attached to his mama in the carrier. Two snaps and Jake looked the other way, so this is what we have to remember the day!
Grateful today for...fresh Christmas trees of course.
