What to do, what to do...

when your tiny subject has taken flight and is neatly hidden away in a Maple tree some fifteen or so feet above your head!

I tried my best to hold the camera steady above my head....

I am thinking this is a swallowtail, although not sure which one. The little bugger remained in that tree for what seemed like forever....

I will not even go into the Monarch Butterfly that appeared as we were leaving later in the day....Why are these little buggers so flighty?
