Two Swans A Standing

Have been well and truly Christmas'd today

Visited Castle Howard - the house tastefully decorated for the festive season - extra - walked around the Christmas Market in the courtyard - to the strains of Slade - "So Here It Is - Merry Christmas" - did try to get eight swans a swimming on the lake - as per the words to another Christmas Song - ended up with two swans a standing

Afterwards swanned of to Malton and Pickering - both places having a certain charm - even in persistent rain
