It's been that sort of day ..... all day.

A white form Iris unguicularis, the winter flowering iris.  It's not too bothered by the rain but hard frost wipes out the delicate flowers.  The good news is that buds push up in succession so any losses are soon replaced.  This plant has languished for years in the unwanted shade of a shrub that grew too big.  A fairly brutal pruning has brought the iris back into the light :-)
