A dark day.

Ali has been showing her age (17 1/2) for a while now.  Over the last few days things have deteriorated noticeably.  When Clickychick was talking to her this morning she thought she was showing signs of oedema.  I was asked to confirm her suspicions having been dealing with animals for the majority of my working life.

Sadly I agreed so we made an appointment with the vet knowing the outcome would not be good.  It wasn't her organs were shutting down.

We came home without her.
