High winds in the Highlands

Woke this morning to see this scene-  clouds of spindrift being whipped up by gale force winds above Stuc a' Chroin.

To-night the wind has dropped and the temperature too. I went for a swim this evening and had to de-frost the car to get into it.

Stuc a'Chroin is a Munro ( mountain above 3,000ft) in the southern Highlands. It means  "Peak of the Sheepfold"     and for pronunciation go to this link
