Beetham Tower, Manchester

Beetham Tower has been dominating the Manchester sky line for a few years now. Every morning while I drive into work, I can usually see the UK's 7th tallest building at every turn. On hazy sunny mornings, it always attracts my attention more by the way the blade at the top seems to be in shadow - contrasting with the sunlit elevation directly below. I have been meaning to blip it for some time now, and took the opportunity this morning. Fortunately, my viewpoint was from a railway bridge and I think that the railway lines below compliment the slender structure reaching into the sky.
