Still blooming!

While on my rather dull, wet walk with the dogs this morning I spotted this hydrangea bloom that was still valiantly hanging on to its colour. Many of the large blousy heads had a rather bleached appearance as traces of pink and blue had long since gone. I think this flower head had found a slightly more sheltered spot.
