La Luz

Today was my first unscheduled day in quite a long while. I slept 11 hours last night and, even though I still felt kinda tired, I decided to hike part of the way up my favorite trail, La Luz. It hasn't snowed yet at the lower elevations of the Sandias (pretty unusual) and the weather was wonderful -- I thought today might be my last chance for a while.

The trail is 8 miles long -- I "only" hiked up 2.7 miles and back. I'm back to being exhausted. But it was a really nice break.
