Day 335. A December fly braves the outside.

I wonder how long common flies survive outside at this time of year? I had to wait and be observant at lunchtime today, but eventually found this chap on a small bush. It was pretty slow moving, reluctant to fly anywhere and did not spook as I stuck my lens in its face so that made it a little easier.
