Our Natural History Society.

Arnside and Silverdale have a flourishing Natural History Society. We have 8 evening lectures and several bird walks in the winter plus over 20 organised field trips in the summer plus a holiday either overseas or in the U.K.

There are over 200 members and we regularly get about 75 at the evening meetings.

For 20 years Knottman and Mrs.K. have been deeply involved and have both held all the various offices. It has been a very rewarding part of our retirement and has provided very many valued friends.
