Metropolitain

I am so pleased that they have kept some of the old Metro signs. This one is on Boulevard St Michel near the Notre Dame cathedral.

After a very lazy start we headed for the Louvre, where we had lunch, then to the area around Notre Dame. We then travelled on the metro to the nearest station to the Sacre Coeur. We hung around there until almost dark taking a few more pictures. On our way to the Sacre Coeur we found the same bar and restaurant where we had eaten the first time I visited Paris nearly 40 years ago. It looked just the same and had traditional French cuisine. Last time we had rabbit stew but this time it was Boeuf Bourgignon.

On the way back to our hotel we needed to change trains at Pigalle so decided to walk along to the Moulin Rouge to see if we could get some night shots.

It's another blip and run night as I am so tired after all that walking. According to my fitbit we have walked 8.2 miles today.
