Lighting up

Shops have been gearing up for Christmas since October, but now that December is here, it seems reasonable for seasonal decorations to be on display.

This is one of the rather splendid brightly-lit Christmas trees in Heathrow's Terminal 5. The terminal is uncharacteristically empty in this photo because of the very early hour at which I was checking in there this morning, for a flight to Sweden for the unveiling of Volvo's new S90 luxury saloon..
