Parcels

Driving into work this morning I knew that there was a 12 hour day ahead with a parents' evening adding the extra hours to the usual routine. Not the most motivating of starts but it has not turned out to be a bad day. Two meetings booked in that were productive and two lessons taught with Y11 relatively focused on their January exams. And then lots of talking to parents most of whom had had a very good evening. 

My exit was delayed slightly by having to shift parcels to the car - the product of my online  Christmas shopping spree. Although something might have slipped in for myself... And having been on my feet for four and a bit hours tonight at the end of a full day, comfy (purple) boots are definitely called for.
