Rice fields & durians

I took my scooter out to explore the surrounding areas and got intentionally lost. There are so many rice fields and interesting sights once you get away from the tourist centre. There are lots of places selling real Indonesian food at the right prices too. I stopped at a road-side durian stall which had drawn a big crowd and bought a whole durian to take back to my room. I paid 40,000 Rp (£2) which was a bit more than locals pay but I was confused as even around most of SE Asia, that's a really cheap price. Apparently Indonesia is one of the cheapest countries in the world for durian. Even in neighbouring Malaysia you have to pay more than double that!
