The event was the national discussion day for the Year of Young People, which will be in 2018. We are supporting a fabulous team of young volunteers who have spent the past few months touring the country asking people what they would like the year to achieve. Today was the last big event - with over 200 people- to refine their ideas and recommendations which they will present to the Minister for Children and Young People in the new year.

Incredible energy and hundreds of inspiring ideas combined to make an unforgettable day. So proud of the young people, our partners and my fabulous team - such passion and commitment.
