Noisy Starlings

It's dreary today after yesterday's glorious sunshine, although the sun did pop its head out for five minutes or so.

As I walked towards the wood this morning I could hear lots of noisy starlings in one of the Oak trees.  This is a picture of them taken looking up (obviously), and because it's Abstract Thursday, kindly hosted by youoregon1, I turned it mono and desaturated it.

Does anyone else eat kiwis like a boiled egg?  No salt or soldiers of course.
