Quod oculus meus videt

Slaughterhouse Sunrise

The title needs a bit of explaining.  This is one of the areas of Weston Park. It was formerly an area dedicated to deer and this part of the estate was where the slaughtering, dressing and hanging buildings were situated for the venison.  At a particular time of the year it is also the red campsite for V Festival.  It isn't a place I like to frequent during the festival, for fear of never finding my way out of it again, so large is the area.

By now many of you will be aware of the post on Blip Central, on behalf of a group called Blipfuture.  I am one of four blippers who is behind the group.  I already realise there will be lots of questions and comments people will want to make.  I want to ask you to do that through the Blipfuture website.  We have provided lots of information if you just register.  We have also put up a frequently asked questions page that you can access without registering.

I hope you won't mind but I want to keep my journal separate from Blipfuture.  One of the reasons I am doing this is that I love Blipfoto and want to be able to keep blipping.  If my journal becomes somewhere people contact me about Blipfuture it will inevitably change.  Yes I am trying to do something to make sure Blipfoto is here in the future, but above all I am just someone who tries to post an image each day and I want that to continue.

We intend to provide more information via Blip Central over the weekend, but please realise that because this campaign is regulated by financial conduct rules we are limited in some of the things we can say.  Again, the best place to ask your questions or find out more details is the Blipfuture website.
