On our way to UK

We are on the ferry from Esbjerg to Harwich. I am in the Light House Cafe - the only place on the ferry, where you can catch some internet. Some man in a pirate dress is entertaining the children on board... He is very enthusiastic! :-)

We've had a good journey so far. We started from home at little past noon and drove a couple of hours to Esbjerg. In Esbjerg I parked the car and took the boys for a long walk. We found a green areas not far from the harbour, where there was some exhibition giving ideas on how to save energy. It was very interesting.

We 'checked in' and after that I had another hour to play with the dogs and walk them around in the waiting area. Some British soldiers on their way home from a military exercise in Denmark wanted to say hallo to the dogs. One of them jumped down from their tank and landed right in front of Hero, who nearly had a heart attack! It took a while before he was ready to say hallo to the soldiers! Biscuit and Beat were thrilled about the attention though and Hero did eventually decide it was ok.

The dogs have to stay in the car during the crossing, but I get to walk them on the car deck 3 times. They have already been for their first walk and all looks good. They have had such a busy day (following a busy day yesterday), so I think they are ready for a good long sleep!

Happy Sunday, Blippers
Emmy and the Hazyland boys - on their way to England!

PS. The pirat is now sending all the kids off on a treasure hunt!
