Room 1:22

This week I've been helping prepare a room in the Art's Complex that BFS uses for office, storage and rehearsal space. We're redecorating it as way of payment for room use during the run up to Beltane. This evening was the first night with some volunteers along to help out. The main task this evening was sugar soaping the walls to get them clean enough to possibly start painting tomorrow.

The room was filthy. We've spent hours steaming the window frames (with black water spraying everywhere), washing the insides of the windows, removing old wiring and many other things. In an office block that stood empty for years and now is ran by a charity, the windows don't get cleaned very often. That will soon all change...
