Another Beach, Another Castle

Up early. Off out and about and not too far to yet another glorious long sandy beach with a castle at the end. This time it was Newton by the Sea looking towards Dunstanburgh castle.

The sun shone in the morning, and about lunch time as we walked off the beach, the heavens opened. So as it was lunch time we headed to the Dandelion cafe in Alnmouth for panninis and coffees.

Mummy, you will see that Cameron is trying to get his white Scottish legs tanned. Breagha is gazing intently at a stick which moments later was wedged at the back of her mouth. Thank goodness for Papa sticking his hands in her mouth and pulling it out or else it may have been a trip to the Vets.

Only thing about holidaying in the middle of nowhere is that no supermarkets are open after 4pm on a Sunday. At home it's 24 hour opening so we are spoilt. Luckily there is a Londis attached to a petrol station at the end of our street for some milk and pasta!
