De Oude Pastorie

We'd planned today to go to the village of Rhoon. It has a picturesque old center with magnificent buildings such as Het Kasteel van Rhoon, Het Wapen van Rhoon en De Oude Pastorie (Castle Rhoon, The Weapon of Rhoon and The Old Rectory).

I had proposed to photograph at least one of these buildings in the by clouds tempered sunlight. At least that was the weather forecast.

Arrived in Rhoon the skies darkened and soon it began to rain. None beautiful clouds as appealing background, not a pretty subdued sunlight. Other hand a tight gray sky from which rain poured generously.

By necessity, I decided to take a picture of part of the facade of De oude Pastorie. The color of the bricks in the facade was still beautiful in this light. For the initial pictures we come back again in better weather ... ;)
