Smithfield Market

Just walked through Smithfield Market on the way to work. This old wholesale meat market is the largest in the UK but is in danger of being sold for development into flats, as it sits on prime real estate in the middle of London. It would be a real shame as it has been around there has been a livestock market on the site in some shape or form for over 800 years.
