Rakfisk, a traditional norwegian meal

Tonight we invited a couple for this traditional meal, which is usually served late autumn and before Christmas.
Rakfisk is made from trout, which is salted and fermented for two to three months, then eaten without cooking.
The fish is eaten with almond potatoes, sour cream, red onions and a typical flat norwegian bread, called flatbread.
To this meal we drink beer and aquevit.
For dessert we had multekrem, which is a traditional norwegian dessert, made by mixing cloudberries with whipped cream and sugar.
A great meal with nice company, Arild and Jorunn. Arild was Dags advisor when he studied psychologi, and later they have been colleagues at the university of Oslo for years. Arild is now 81 years old and still going strong. Last week he finished a book and I would not be surprised if he started a new one.
I wouldn't be afraid of getting old if I could have a mental and physical capacity a little bit like him!
