Getting the sparkle back

Toot Corner

This is just outside Abbey St Bathans in the Scottish Borders, which is a special, hidden-away place in a wooded valley in the Lammermuir Hills. I went there today with a friend and we managed a short walk - about three miles round trip - to see Edin's Hall Broch, a large circular dry stone structure with double walls and chambers built within the walls. It was built about 2,000 years ago and is situated within a hill fort, and very little seems to be known about it for certain!

Toot Corner is on the way to the broch from the car park in Abbey St Bathans and I'm glad to say that when we were on our return journey a car came round the corner and duly tooted.
