Now to the interesting stuff!

This is in the "Engenhos de Calheta" museum - one of the reopened sugar cane processing factories. It was big business in Madeira  for many years, but all the mills and plants closed down by the 1970s/80s. Two have reopened and now produce sugar cane syrup and spirits.
