Pictures for an Exhibition

We were up and out early again this morning as it was the December meeting of the Gamma Photo Group. This month there was an invited speaker, Martin Shakeshaft, a photo journalist and university lecture. He had photographed the coal miners' strike in the mid 1980's among other things.

This month we had to take three prints for the annual exhibition. One of the requirements of membership is that we each submit 3 framed prints on a theme each year. This year my theme was 'Santorini Blues'. During the day all the pictures were displayed along the windowsills of the building where we meet. Not the best place for viewing or photographing them but there wasn't much opportunity to take any other photographs today.

Thank you for all the hearts and stars on my Louvre image from Thursday which has been on page 2 of Popular for a couple of days.
