Great day out

Our WI had a great day out today at the home of the Welsh chef Gareth Richards.He kept us enthralled with a two hour cookery demonstration followed by lunch which included some of the dishes he had cooked earlier. In the afternoon he gave a wonderful demonstration of flower arrangements for Christmas, and I was lucky enough to win one in the raffle held later. That was followed by afternoon tea with the frangipane mincepies and cheese truffles he had made in the morning. We came home replete and inspired to try out some of his delicious recipes.
