Firebird

Today is the 15th annual Firebird Festival. Practically every shop in town has a band playing in it and there will be bands playing from a stage up at the Festival site too.

Then at 8 they'll light this wooden Phoenix and cheer as the head and wings collapse in clouds of sparks, before heading back to town for more beer.
