Back in the caravan. This festive one, alas, is not ours... But am delighted to be a temporary neighbour to it as it is a useful reminder for the need to do Christmas shopping.

We've been staying with some especially lovely and generous pals but we decided we needed to move out while we were all still having a nice time ... So, before they got fed up :)

So, back to the trailer park and away from the mess. We did some cleaning up yesterday which felt good but our joiner leaves a lot to be desired. The principle of under promising and over delivering is clearly alien to him so he flips that principle on its head and promises much and doesn't even come close.

So, we're calling his bluff and moving back in on Wednesday. I reckon if we're actually there, chivvyjng along, he'll get more done. He surely won't leave the kiddies without a loo?

Needless to say, this is all very stressful.

Channelling inner calm is rather challenging...

On the plus side the caravan park does pleasing egg and chips and the gale force winds confined us to our static haven to watch lots of films. Ponyo, Labyrinth and The Snowman so far. I'm looking forward to reacquainting myself with G Force, Muppets Christmas Carol and the Never Ending Story shortly too.

Whoop.
