Potosi & Sucre, Bolivia

We had a pretty chilled out last few days in the once very rich but now quiet old mining town of Potosi and the 'White City' of Sucre.

We roamed the nice streets of Potosi admiring the various churches and squares and visiting the local markets. We also tried the supposed highest brewed beer in the world!

We arrived in Sucre for the weekend of the festival of Mary which provided the city with great energy and entertainment. A three day long parade went through the main plaza and there was a party mood in the entire city for the few days we were there.

I'm really glad we visited both places but I'm also really looking forward to the Salt Flats and the tour we'll be doing tomorrow, as we head south today.
