Cut-your-own

In the category 'as an American': Marten in the processing of cutting-our-own-tree. I'll admit, it's a little early (Sinterklaas even hasn't had his birthday yet!), but that's what you do the weekend after Thanksgiving. Our tree was so tiny, that it fit inside our (also tiny) car, confusing the lady at the pay booth who is used to only gigantic trees tied to the roofs of cars. Anyway, we did it!
