We Didn't Start the Fire!

I stepped outside today to go on a jog. I was met with the strong smell of camp fire and strange, orange haze in the air. It was clear that the smoke and debris from the fires raging up north had descended south over night.

I realized the extent at which the air quality had decrease while sitting on my friends porch. The outdoor foosball table was covered in a fine layer of white ash and flecks of back carbon. The ash had settled all over the porch.

I guess ash is California's version of snow in the winter.

I'll take scrapping my car off any day.
