Tunbridge Wells Common

My weekly Monday walk across the Common to attend a geneology class.  Delighted to find the rain had stopped and the sun had come out for my walk back.

Having lots of fun tracing the ancestors. I have discovered  Master bakers, Master brickmakers, ironmongers,  farmers,  agricultural labourers, bricklayers and "gas and water" fitters . A practical lot.  It seems my paternal great grandfather was born out wedlock and I cannot work out who brought him up.  His mother was sent to  Poole to have the baby then back to Hereford to marry a George Barlow but appears to have left the baby in Poole.
