WATER IS UP

Looks like we are headed for a flood.  Rained all of last night, and all of today.  This hasn't happened in a few years.  The house is built for it, but It can make a mess of the yard.  Spent about four hours this morning in rain gear, putting away lawn furniture, fire wood, and such.
Took the extra, then thought that it would be nice to catch a log coming down, and there it was.  When we first moved here, I used to love to catch fire wood in the high water.  So, I couldn't help myself.  I put the camera down, ran across the deck, and down the stairs, and out to the creek.  Got there just in time to see her go by.  Big enough to drag me to the ocean, if I had a hook in her.  Miss the good old days.
