Ushuaia, Argentina

To finish off the incredible few weeks that we've had in Patagonia, we've just spent the last few days in Ushuaia, 'The End of World'.

Ushuaia makes the claim to be the southern most city in the world and it definitely felt like that over the few days we were there with it being surrounded by snow covered mountains and an icy cold wind blowing in from the ocean.

Some of the hikes and treks are still closed due to the snow but we did get to do a full days trekking in the famous Tierra del Fuego national park.

We both couldn't have felt more like we were at the bottom of the world than when we sat in our Argentinian hostel and watched their rugby team knock Ireland out of the Rugby World Cup.

But onwards and upwards, as today we take a flight north to Buenos Aires and in just a few days my mam will be coming over to join us for three weeks as we visit the other exciting places that this amazing country has to offer.
