Betrayed!

Poor Splodgey is caught here - cribb'd, cabin'd and confin'd, and on his way to the vet to have his ears cropped. Its no wonder he looks reproachful.

He's a 16 year old cat with white ears who loves lying out in the sun - and the sun has had its wicked way at last.

We lured him into the house yesterday evening wth cat treats and wouldn't let him out however hard he wheedled, sulked and demanded because I needed to have him in his cat box and on the 7.15 bus this morning and I just knew he wouldn't come when called this morning. He's sharp, is our Splodge.

If all goes well, he should be back with us this evening, with shorter ears, but potentially a much longer life
