The green, green grass!

A colder day but blue skies and sunshine:)  Did some shopping, present wrapping and washing.  Lunchtime I had some homemade soup with a cheese scone and then went for a walk over the brickfield lakes.  There were a couple of Pochards, the swans and some coots but no woodpeckers today.  On the way back, liked the way the sun was shining on the grass, lighting up the teasels and the dampness of the grass.
